I've spent more than a decade building and running payroll, benefits, and back office operations, including years inside PEO environments at Paychex and Makai HR, and most recently overseeing payroll and retirement operations for more than 70 charter schools and nonprofits. I've worked union and benefits heavy environments, multi state compliance, and the kind of regulatory pressure where getting it wrong is expensive. I'm a Certified Payroll Professional, and I built Desert Sage to bring that same level of operations to businesses that don't have that kind of support yet.
